[Review] Cartier SM Love bracelet, Yellow Gold with 10 diamonds, TS Miss Chen
I have used some of my furlough time to finish all the reviews I should have posted in the last few months. CCW always welcome and I hope they are useful. I've tried to include as many photos as possible and follow a fairly standard format. I'm going to make use of u/gotwagoons' excellent rating system as follows: [-1] if the difference is immediately obvious when placed next to an auth. [-0.5] if the difference would be noticed by a casual buyer trying to authenticate a preloved item through images before purchasing [-0.25] if the differences require side-by-side-place-the-items-in-the-exact-positions comparisons or could be spotted by a seasoned authenticator. Basically, if I feel like a crazy person pointing it out, it'll be [-0.25] Disclosure - I neither received nor asked for any discount or special treatment from the seller Purchased from: TS Miss Chen WeChatID: MissChen625 Timeline: Mar 11 - contacted Miss Chen via WeChat, asked for details and pricing Mar 14 - placed order and paid deposit via TransferWise Mar 28 - received QC video and GL’d, paid outstanding amount Mar 30 - received DHL tracking number Apr 21 - received my bracelet (delays due to COVID-19) Price and Pictures 1800 USD including DHL shipping (size 18) My Pics (I've included some pictures from when it was brand new and some more recent showing a few scratches etc. I wear this bracelet pretty much all the time as you can see) QC video Factory photo Authentic Quality: 10/10
Materials: 18k yellow gold with 10 VS1 G diamonds totalling 0.21 carats - verified by a local jeweller in the UK
Sizing: true to Cartier sizing
Engraving: crisp and clear
Mechanism: a single screw which does a quarter turn clockwise to lock and a quarter turn anti-clockwise to unlock. There is a hinge on the opposite side to the screw
Accuracy (to authentic): 9.5/10 I tried this one (and also the classic Love and the cuff) on in a Cartier boutique in London last year and decided that this was the stye that suited me best
Materials: the gold is very, very slightly more rosy in colour than some of my 18k jewellery purchased in the UK/Middle East (-0.25). Cartier use diamonds categorised as F, IF-VVS. This bracelet has G, VS1 so slightly lower in both colour and clarity. The inclusions in a diamond of this clarity are difficult for a skilled grader to see under 10x magnification and would not be visible to the naked eye. To be super picky, I will deduct a crazy person's (-0.25) for this difference
Sizing: true to Cartier shape and sizing
Engraving: the font, depth of font and crispness of the engraving and hallmarks look on point. Regarding the cursive 7, Miss Chen posted in her moments a while ago that Cartier does indeed have 2 fonts for this so either version is correct
Mechanism: exactly the same as the authentic, the screw lock is still smooth and secure just as when I received it. The authentic has a slight hump on the inner side opposite the screw lock. It is simply the way the hinge is formed. Miss Chen's bracelet matches the authentic
Measurements: Weight 20.09g, width 2.07mm, depth 3.76mm. The dimensions and weight are within the range found online for this bracelet on consignment websites
Communication: 10/10. Miss Chen was very responsive and patient. I asked her about the prices for several items before deciding on this one. Our conversations were in English. I would definitely recommend her. Happiness: 1000/10. I have a gorgeous, diamond set, 18k bracelet. For the price, I couldn't get one made of the same materials in a local jeweller. Love, love, love it.
A not-so-brief rundown of letters G-I in Jeffrey Epstein's 'Black Book'
Below is a rundown of letters G-I of Epstein's contacts. Last year, I wrote about letters A-C. You can check that out here (https://www.reddit.com/conspiracy/comments/cpis3n/a_brief_rundown_of_the_first_ten_pages_of_jeffrey/). I also wrote about letters D-F on July 5, 2020. You can check that out here (https://www.reddit.com/conspiracy/comments/hlrba8/a_notsobrief_rundown_of_letters_df_in_jeffrey/). There are some misspelled names. Epstein entered their names like this. I have bolded some of the more interesting connections and information, but there could be much more that I overlooked. I hope something here strikes an interest in someone and maybe we can get more investigations out of this. Please, if you know anything more about any of these people than what is presented here, post below. I am working off of the unredacted black book found here: https://www.coreysdigs.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Jeffrey-Epsteins-Little-Black-Book-unredacted.pdf G-I Gaetani, Gelasio: Count Gelasio Gaetani comes from one of the oldest families in Rome. The Gaetani (also known as Caetani) family has produced 3 popes, including Pope Boniface VIII. Gelasio is a wine specialist and vineyard owner who helps celebrities buy the most unique bottles of wine throughout the world. Gaetani, Rufreido: Roffredo Gaetani was an Italian count, prince, and duke who died in a car crash in 2005. Roffredo came to the public’s attention when he dated Ivana Trump in the 1990s. Brother of Gelasio. Gallman, Kuki: Kuki Gallmann is a best-selling author (5 of her books were global best sellers), poet, environmental activist, and conservationist. Owns a 98,000 acre cattle ranch in Kenya with her husband, which she turned into a conservation park. Ganero, Mario Jr.: Where do we even begin? Mario Garnero is a Brazilian banker and entrepreneur who has been deemed the “father of the ethanol car” and is the chairman of the board and primary shareholder of Brasilinvest Group, a banking firm worth $700 million. Garnero’s connections run extremely deep. He is/has been personal friends with Jacob Rothschild, David Rockefeller, Bill Clinton, George H. W. Bush, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, Henry Kissinger, Helmut Schmidt, and many others. The following website makes some startling connections between Garnero, Epstein, and others (source:https://aeltri.com/2019/02/12/john-of-god-mario-garnero-and-epstein/). Quick summary: Record producer Damon Dash (former co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records with Jay-Z) allegedly raped a supermodel who worked for Naomi Campbell at a party thrown by Garnero (source:https://www.standard.co.uk/news/poshs-friend-sued-for-rape-6939248.html). Garnero has been referred to as a “Rothschild pawn” who tried to help Aecio Neves rise to power. Garnero also appointed “George Soros frontman, Arminio Fraga, who worked in Soros’ Quantum Fund, as Minister of the Economy.” Ganoza, Esteban Juan: A Peruvian businessman who said he met Maxwell in the 1980s when he lived in New York, but denied any ties to pedophilia when his contact information was revealed to be in Epstein’s ‘Black Book.’ Garcia, Ludmila: No info found. Gardner. Adam: No info found. Garland, Michael: Likely the Chairman of investment firm C5 Capital, located in London. She had a daughter with property dealer Simon Gaul, the Godson of Prince Rainier of Monaco. Geary, Tim: Served in public relations and was Director of Membership at Soho House, a restaurant and private members club. Billionaire Ron Burkle owns 60% of Soho House. Burkle, along with Bill Clinton, Chris Tucker, Kevin Spacey, travelled to Africa for an anti-poverty, anti-AIDs tour on Epstein’s Lolita Express. Nothing fishy there. Gelardin, Jack: No info found. Pia’s sisters are Princess Alexandra von Furstenberg of designer fame and Maria-Chantal, Crown Princess of Greece, Princess of Denmark. Her ex-husband (1992-2005), Christopher, is Mark Getty’s first cousin. Christopher is also the grandson of Jean Paul Getty Sr. When they were married, Pia and Mark would hold A-list parties on the rooftop of their Manhattan townhouse. Their townhouse was located half a mile from Jeffrey Epstein’s mansion. Many people think that the Getty Museum in Los Angeles houses an underground base and city for the elites. Gibbs, Emma: Former girlfriend of Prince Andrew. Gibbs was introduced to Prince Andrew by her good friend, Ghislaine Maxwell. Gibbs worked as a PR consultant. Gibson, Caroline: Likely to be the award-winning freelance copywriter and content writer who has worked on a number of high-profile advertisements. Berlusconi has been charged for underage prostitution in the past. Agag quit politics to pursue financial and sporting interests. He is married to the daughter of Jose Maria Aznar, the former PM of Spain and Ana Botella Serrano, the first female mayor of Madrid. Guests at Agag’s wedding included kings and queens. Berlusconi and Tony Blair served as witnesses. Gore, Juliet: The only Juliet Gore I found is the co-director of Neuro Orthopaedic Institute out of Australia. Doesn’t feel right. Guggenheim, Barbara & Bert Flelds: Guggenheim (not part of the Guggenheim museum family) is a partner at the well-known art advisory firm, Guggenheim, Asher Associates, Inc. They have built collections for Coca Cola and Sony, as well as Tom Cruise and alleged pedophile Steven Spielberg. Epstein victim Maria Farmer once worked for Barbara at her home before meeting Epstein. Farmer got the job through Barbara’s sister, Eileen, who has been accused of being an Epstein enabler. A petition (https://www.change.org/p/david-kratz-eileen-guggenheim-must-be-removed-for-harm-she-caused-to-maria-farmer-by-jeffrey-epstein?recruiter=30424804) to have her removed as Chair of the Board of Trustees of the New York Academy of Art as a result of Maria Farmer’s allegations has over 10,000 signatures. Farmer says that Eileen Guggenheim forced her to sell a painting replicating Degas’s “The Rape” to Epstein. Two weeks after meeting Epstein and Maxwell, Guggenheim took Farmer and other art students to Epstein’s Zorro Ranch in New Mexico (source:https://news.artnet.com/art-world/epstein-ranch-art-students-1760265). Married to John Langeloth Loeb Jr., former United States Ambassador to Denmark under Reagan. Hanover, Ernst & chantal: Prince Ernst Hanover is the head of the royal House of Hanover. The House of Hanover has produced six British monarchs, including King George III and Queen Victoria. The current British monarchy, the Windsors, are actually of German and British descent, which is why these family trees intersect. Most notably, the House of Hanover is perhaps the most important of the Black Nobility families. There have been some fantastic threads on Reddit about the Black Nobility. Hanson, Brook: Adopted son of British industrialist, Lord Hanson, Brook died in 2014 at the age of 50. In the 1980s, Robert worked as a banker at NM Rothschild & Sons before returning to his father’s company. Odd that Robert Hanson, his brother Brook, and his parents would have wanted anything to do with Epstein. Hapsburg, Marie: Royalty. Her father was Archduke Joseph Arpad of Austria and her mother, Archduchess Maria of Austria, was a Princess of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg and a member of theHouse of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenbergby birth. The Hapsburg (also called Habsburg) family is one of the most powerful and wealthiest families in Europe. The Hapsburgs are another Black Nobility family of very high prestige. I couldn’t find anything out about her husband, Raymond van der Meide. They have 7 children together. Harvey Victoria: Ex-girlfriend of Prince Andrew, Hervey is an English model and socialite. Although her relationship with Andrew didn’t work out, she remained in his inner circle. In 2000, she attended a dinner with Prince Andrew, Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, and Jeffrey Epstein (source:https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/9844083/lady-victoria-hervey-jeffrey-epstein-too-old/). Hervey is also a friend of Ghislaine Maxwell, who introduced her to Epstein and “set her up in one of Epstein’s apartments in New York.” Hervey is the daughter of Victor Hervey, 6th Marquess of Bristol, businessman and member of the House of Lords. Harvey-Watt, Isabelle: Director of PR for Giorgio Armani before moving on to Versace and other well-known fashion corporations. Haslam, Nick: English interior designer and socialite. His mother was the Goddaughter of Queen Victoria. Haslam claims to have had an affair with Lord Snowdon one year before he married Princess Margaret (Queen Elizabeth’s sister), further fueling rumors of Lord Snowdon’s alleged bisexuality. Hatkoff, Craig & Jane: Hatkoff is a real estate investor, who, along with his ex-wife, Jane Rosenthal, and Robert De Niro, founded the Tribeca Film Festival and the Tribeca Film Institute. Hatkoff has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Clinton Foundation. Hauteville, Marc de: Manages Soc Civile du Frayssinet, a real estate company based out of France. There is very little information other than this. Both of his parents appear to be members of noble families - the Hautevilles and the Cazenoves - who have historical ties to the Du Ponts. Hay, Henry & Patricia: Henry Hay is CEO and co-founder of Centaur Properties, a large real estate firm based out of New York. Centaur’s holdings are concentrated in the most expensive neighborhoods in Manhattan. Hayworth Reggie: Heyworth runs the 160 acre Cotswold Wildlife Park, which attracts more than 400,000 people a year. He lives in the middle of the park at the Bradwell Grove estate. . Hazell-Iveagh, Clare: This amazing thread made by clemanueverers contains all the info you need:https://www.reddit.com/conspiracy/comments/hkk5g0/one_of_epstein_madam_ghislaine_maxwells/. Quick summary: Hazell-Iveagh helped Maxwell and Epstein procure children using her position as President of West Suffolk National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC). Click on the link. Clemanueverers did a wonderful job. Hearn, Barry & Susan: Barry is a hugely popular English sports promoter, as is his son, Eddie, who represents some of the biggest boxers in the world. Former boxer and popular Youtuber Tyan Booth was supposedly banned immediately after posting a video connecting Epstein to Hearn. I have tried to find the video or at least a summary of what he said, but have been unsuccessful. If anyone has any info on this, please post below. Hefner III, Bob: Founder and CEO of GHK Companies, which specializes in oil and natural gas. Founded the Robert and MeiLi Hefner Foundation which sponsors educational trips to China for outstanding high school students. His grandfather, Robert Hefner Sr., served as Mayor of Oklahoma City, was a Supreme Court Justice of Oklahoma, was a member of the executive council of the Boy Scouts of America, and was a thirty-second degree Freemason. Although I try not to engage in speculation, this article makes a connection between Jeffrey Epstein, Bob Hefner III, and a winning Powerball lottery ticket that was purchased in Oklahoma in 2008 (source:https://www.thelostogle.com/2019/08/14/no-jeffrey-epstein-did-not-win-25-million-from-an-oklahoma-lottery-ticket-or-did-he/#comments). It’s too long to summarize. Read it and check it out. Heiden, Lisa: Worked in Manhattan and London as an executive for ABC. Close friend of Ghislaine Maxwell. According to the fantastic research done by this person (https://twitter.com/Agent99Mom/status/1280580456400982016), two of Lisa Heiden’s properties are listed as an address for Ellmax, a company set up by Ghislaine. Heineken, Mr. Fredie: A Dutch businessman for the Heineken brewing company. Was chairman and CEO from 1971-1989. Helen and Tim Shifter: Helen is a former Vogue Magazine staffer. Tim is former CEO of LeSportsac and serves as Senior Advisor at Blackstone Group, a private equity firm. The Schifters are personal friends of Ghislaine Maxwell. Helvin, Marie: Former fashion model and former girlfriend of Imran Khan, the current Prime Minister of Pakistan. According to her memoir, she knows pretty much any popular celebrity from the ‘70s and ‘80s. Herbert, Jason: Likely a financial adviser based in London. Hermes, Olga & Olaf: Olaf is a handbag heir. Olga is his ex-wife. Herrero, Juan & Helen: Juan is like the managing director of an investment bank in Spain. Hersov, Robert & Kim: Robert is a South African entrepreneur and mining heir who has worked for Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and News Corp. (owned by Murdoch).. Ex-wife Kim is a London-based fashion editor and designer. Heseltine, Mr & Mrs: Baron Michael Heseltine is a British businessman and politician who served in various roles in government for British PMs Margaret Thatcher and John Major. Heseltine was a friend of Robert Maxwell, Ghislaine’s father. Heseltine invested in Conservative Parliament member Harvey Proctor’s business after Proctor was forced to resign after it was revealed he had sexual relationships with and took nude pictures of male prostitutes aged 17-21 at his home (source:https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/members-interests-top-tories-lose-on-proctors-shop-the-retailer-1445666.html). At the time, it was illegal to have same-sex relations with prostiutes under the age of 21. Heseltine, Mr & Mrs: Same as above. Heseltine, Ms. Annabel: Journalist, columnist, and TV and radio broadcaster. At the age of 22, she became the Assistant-editor for Hong Kong Tatler (there’s that publication again). Daughter of Baron Michael Heseltine. Heseltine, Rupert: Businessman and heir to Haymarket Media Group. Son of Baron Michael Heseltine. Hicks, India: A fashion model in the ‘80s and ‘90s, India Hicks is a good friend of Ghislaine Maxwell. Descendant of the Mountbatten family, a British dynasty (although much of their background is German). Granddaughter of the much-decorated war hero, Lord Mountbatten (Prince Charles’s mentor), who, according to FBI files, was “a homosexual with a perversion for young boys” (source:https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/9745399/lord-mountbatten-fbi-dossier-prince-charles/). Prince Charles is her second cousin and Godfather. Hill, Anthony: Son of Robin Hall, 8th Marquess of Downshire and Juliet Weld-Forester, daughter of 7th Baron Forester. Couldn’t find any more info. Himmelstein, Howard: Co-owner of clothing brand Camp Beverly Hill and a producescreenwriter. Hirsch, Jeff: Owner of Foto Care, a shop that sells professional camera equipment. Claims he is only in the ‘Black Book’ because he sold an expensive camera to Ghislaine many years ago and had to go to her house to show her how to use it (source:https://www.miamiherald.com/news/state/florida/article234312632.html). This, however, doesn’t explain why there are two numbers listed under Hirsch’s name that are attributed to Scott Geffert, the General Manager for Advanced Imaging at the MET museum. This could all be innocent or these two could have assisted in Epstein’s hidden camera setup and helped Epstein get high quality pictures of his victims. We can’t be sure. Hissom, Robert & Andrea: Robert is the founder of Aspen Capital Partners, a large property management firm. He is a friend of Prince Charles. His ex-wife, Andrea, famously got remarried to Steve Wynn, billionaire Las Vegas hotel tycoon. Prince Harry was a guest of Wynn’s at his Encore resort. She is a good friend of India Hicks (mentioned above), the granddaughter of Lord Mountbatten (Prince Charles’s mentor), who, according to FBI files, was “a homosexual with a perversion for young boys.” Holland-Martin, Ben: Works for the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC). His mother, Rosamund, was chairman of the NSPCC for 20 years while Princess Margaret was President and was involved with the NSPCC for more than 50 years (source:https://www.newspapers.com/image/?clipping_id=36141343&fcfToken=eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiIsInR5cCI6IkpXVCJ9.eyJmcmVlLXZpZXctaWQiOjI1OTU4NDE2NSwiaWF0IjoxNTk0MzMwNTQ0LCJleHAiOjE1OTQ0MTY5NDR9.j1V2e0Mr3tJmPzusRYNneLVhUskWiIAvNIjdIpvuzj4). Both Ben and his mother are/were friends of Princess Margaret. Rosamund Holland-Martin (nee Hornby) was related to Charles Hornby, a British socialite and close friend of Prince Charles, who was sentenced to 2 ½ years for luring young runaway boys into prostitution, indecent assault, importuning, and living off the earnings of prostitution (source:https://news.google.com/newspapers?id=0FQ0AAAAIBAJ&sjid=YbkFAAAAIBAJ&pg=4638,2085303).Ben is also good friends with Hetty Hoffman (mentioned above), who is an ambassador for Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice. If anyone has more info on these two, please post. Epstein has 10 pieces of contact information under their name.
Trending Engagement Ring Designs Before You Buy Yours (7 Brilliant Themes)
A very beautiful word known to man is LOVE. The feeling of which makes life a celebration. Culminating this strong emotion and wonderful feeling is the uniting of two souls into a bond for eternity through marriage. This celebratory day is marked by the exchange of your vows and engagement rings that stay put on your fingers as a mark of commitment to your partner. While you can plan a proposal and ask the hand of your lady love by sealing the deal with a ring or go through the traditional style of exchanging rings at the altar, it’s completely a personal choice suiting each their own. Engagement rings have always been a keen topic of discussion and research for many. The excitement of choosing one for the big day mostly lies with women as compared to men! Exposed to a plethora of variety, each one can choose that really connects with them and will be admired not only by them but their friends and families too. A big hoo-ha surrounds the selection of engagement rings with changing trends constantly, one is always in a dilemma whether to go traditional or go in with the flow of the raging trends of the time. Discussed below are few prominent patterns and designs that are trendy as well as traditional being an evergreen style to choose from. Simply Solitaire! Tanzanite Solitaire Ring A ring style that is classic and eternal, featuring a single stone preferably a diamond is one that is never going to fade out of fashion. Though you can glam it up a bit more by adding more stones to the band but the simplicity of this classic design is one which is a favourite amongst many. The gleam of the single stone encrusted on a yellow gold, white gold or platinum band is one that speaks of a fine taste. This traditional design is quite popular and prevalent in the current times too. Say Hello to Halo! Emerald & Diamond Halo Ring Another vintage style that makes one glamourous choice. The halo design is best described as a one big stone that sits at the centre of the ring while small diamonds frill around the frame of the design to form a halo. You can see a variation of combination to form the halo ranging from diamonds to rubies to tanzanite or even emeralds taking the centre stage in the design frilled with small diamonds. But the choice is totally yours to make, as the recent times have witnessed a demand of combining the sparkle and glamour of a big centre diamond along with surrounding diamonds. Intertwined design for the intertwined hearts Heat Ring Along with the audience trying to adopt and customize the choice of the stones in their rings, here comes another detail which is tweaked to amp up the glamour quotient of the ring. Twisted bands forming an infinity symbol or just twisted along inter-twined into one another of two bands in the ring make quite popular trends as of today. You can again, choose to accentuate the look of the twisted band by having it studded with small diamonds or just keep the glossy twisted band as is to not lose focus from the main stone. This detailing in the band adds a unique touch to the whole character of the ring and allows you to be creative if you are not one to settle for traditional designs. Goodness of two, made in one! Peacock Tanzanite & Diamond Ring Another trend that has been witnessed lately is the combination of two stones in a ring. This style is one that has been a tweak of the classic solitaire design, allowing one to explore and combine the beauty of two stones in their ring rather than just settling for only one stone. This style of ring is an artistic version of the halo design wherein you can witness the encrusted stone at the centre to be one in different shapes as a pear cut or a cushion cut, rather any cut of the stone that you prefer to grace the design of your ring. It's all about the colour! Burmese Ruby Ring An upcoming trend shines light on the changing trends of the time. Turns out that diamonds are after all not every woman’s best friend and hence the new norm to ditch the old classic style and incorporate the galore of ruby, emeralds, tanzanite or even opal is now seen in the modern brides. Going for a coloured stone option allows you to customize one according to your preference or even so if a particular one is lucky for you. The gleaming coloured stones definitely add a charm to the whole arrangement and a personal touch of choice and preference is taken into consideration. Branded in band! Diamond Engagement Ring in Platinum This variety is one of my favourites I must say, as they are simple and classic. Girls and women who like to go old school with a touch of simplicity, this variety of ring is apt for you. Band rings are evergreen and they can be designed from the simple basic classic one to one encrusted with stones throughout, the choice is all yours. These minimalistic rings are for one who have a classic taste, ideal for daily wear, they symbolize commitment, everlasting love and a bond that will only go to infinity of two people in love. These can range from the classic simple ones to one designed in a split shank style to form an infinity symbol, the encrusted ones themselves look gorgeous. For the rosy bride! Morganite Engagement Ring The 2010s saw the incoming of this beautiful colour that took over the market with rage. It’s the rose gold colour, what I am talking about! It’s a personal favourite of mine and how I wish I owned everything rose gold! We could see the colour decorate anything and everything from clothes, footwear, accessories, handbags, jewellery, and even so home décor. Even the jewellery industry succumbed to the dominance of this beautiful colour which could be seen in earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets, etc. The idea of breaking the traditional rules of yellow or white gold or even so platinum took everyone by an exciting storm. You can definitely go for a rose gold band in your ring to match the stone for a distinct look and will give you the touch of being a modern bride having an edge over the classic and basic kinds of rings. I hope this enamouring colour is here to stay for the next coming years. So, planning for the big day is a task for all but choosing the perfect ring is the utmost important one just like your wedding gown. The engagement ring is something that is a reminder of your love and strong bond with your partner, hence a careful selection is a must. Every bride is different and today’s times allows each one to take a pick of their own which is something that they shall cherish forever. Whether you like to go to shops or showrooms to pick the perfect one for yourself or are you the modern bride who is tech-savvy and does like to do her bit of research online. The recent times have shown a rise in shopping online for engagement rings in UK as the sites cater to all your needs and demands while also at times offering a great discount giving you a display of a huge variety to choose and pick from. I am sure that this guide has been helpful to you to make a choice keeping in mind the latest trends while you do your bit of research through websites for online engagement rings or are the traditional bride who likes to do store hopping.
https://imgur.com/a/h5BR2QW Thank you for taking the time Vijay to speak to us on moissanite. We have seen your company, Golden Bird Jewels, mentioned a few times with positive review’s recently and we like to highlight some of those companies here. Tell us a little bit about how you got started. I see you are in Surat, India which is known for being a diamond and jewelry hub around the world. Was this part of a family business? Hello Everyone! Actually my educational background is an IT Engineer. I grew up watching my father making polishing wheels for diamond polishing units. He taught me everything about cutting diamonds but this was not enough for me. I was curious, though, about everything related to the whole process of making jewelry. From the birth of the diamond all the way to it being set in a piece of jewelry. After completion of graduation, I joined my uncle’s jewelry manufacturing unit to make a website and create the software to handle the jewelry manufacturing operations. To understand the work flow, I learned each step in the process thoroughly while also designing the website and software for his company. This experience with my Uncle’s company really motivated me to learn and work through each phase of jewelry making until I broke off and started my own journey... You mentioned that your father made diamond polishing wheels but this business was not enough for you. Why did you decide to follow your own path? It was important to me to learn each step in the process carefully and with that it increased my interest in jewelry manufacturing. I started selling online within India in 2015 by local e-commerce marketplaces like flip kart, amazon, etc. At the same time, I also started doing freelance work for marketplace listings, order handling, customer handling for more than 5 other jewelry firms which were all in India. In 2016, I started selling on marketplaces outside India. In June 2016, I’ve started my own firm called Golden Bird Jewels for selling moissanites outside India. Currently I sell loose moissanite, lab grown diamonds and natural, semi-precious gemstones and jewelry. In January 2019 I started selling Lab Grown diamonds and jewelry with a registered new firm name of Ouros Jewels. Did you decide to switch from your Uncle’s business and work with moissanite after you knew that the Charles & Colvard patent was expiring in 2015? No, I choose this one because Surat is the only place in world where I can easily make moissanite, lab grown diamond, real diamond and also make jewelry with best cost and faster way. At that time, the jewelry e-commerce market was growing so it was a good time to enter into it. I’m not competing with Charles & Colvard or any local, national or international brands. Though some jewelers take me as a tough competitor, I don’t feel it’s true at all. I’m just making my own path. Working and creating a piece which gives me pure satisfaction to my clients from my corner of the world. I’m just focusing on creating the pieces of my imagination and to fulfill my client’s imagination about their own dream piece. Sometimes when it comes to diamonds, the prices maybe much higher then the client’s budget and they would leave the design. I was continuously in search of a substance which can satisfy the client’s needs in both optical and a very close chemical way and that is Moissanite. I had started trial and error on moissanites and I got a very positive result. It also has a Moh’s hardness of 9.25 which is good for everyday jewelry. So, I launched nearly a 100 different designs in moissanites and got a very positive response from my regular clients and then they recommended it to their friends. Do you consider yourself a wholesale business or is custom moissanite rings and jewelry the main focus of your business? I mainly specialize in custom moissanite and lab grown diamond rings and jewelry. I am also available for wholesale orders to deliver the best quality moissanites and lab grown diamonds. I noticed on your Etsy page that you really like vintage cuts like the Old European and Old Mine Cuts. Are vintage cuts a popular choice? In 2018, one of my buyers from eBay asked me about an OEC round. He was from Florida and considered an expert in the jewelry industry for the last 25+ year. I’ve learned a lot from him and he still teaches me so many things. He has taught me how to cut and facet OEC, Old Mine Cuts and all the old vintage cuts. I started selling the OEC round moissanites on eBay first and then on Etsy. Vintage cuts are very unique and the UK/ USA people like them a lot. Old cut jewelry are my favorite all time cuts. Are you cutting your own moissanites from rough? Many of the people on our site are already well educated on moissanite. Are you still using the older Forever Brilliant (6h sic) moissanite rough or the newer (4h sic) moissanite rough? Yes, I do cut my own moissanites from rough. I’m using 4h Sic moissanite rough for making my sparkling stones. What has been your favorite moissanite cut so far? Can a customer request any sort of shape? OEC Old European Round Cut is my most favorite moissanite cut. Yes, a customer can request any sort of shape in moissanite. If a customer asks for the most diamond like cut, what do you usually suggest? Round brilliant is the most diamond like cut. It has maximum number of facets and so it has the most brilliance over any of the other shapes. Crushed ice cuts have been very popular on this sub but people often times say they can look milky. What’s your opinion on the crushed ice cuts compared to the brilliant or antique cuts in moissanite? Do you offer crushed ice cuts? Crushed ice cuts are on demand nowadays but I would like to suggest antique cuts instead. There might be a chance that the stone may look milky under some lighting conditions while in the case of antiques, you’ll find the same sparkle throughout any lighting conditions. I do offer crushed ice for just two shapes though (Oval and Cushion). Thin pave shanks have also been very popular for some time now. We usually suggest nothing lower than 1.8 mm on this sub because of the risk of losing pave. This advice is usually given if the rings are purchased abroad as it can be difficult to find jewelers to work on them more locally. What is the thinnest you are willing to go on a shank with pave? For the pave setting I can make them 1.75mm with assured safety if the customer demands. The thinnest I am willingly to go will not be below 1.75mm. What color moissanites do you offer and are any of them coated? I do offer colored moissanites in Blue, Brown, Green, Grey, Yellow, Orange and Black. None of them are coated. Does your gold contain nickel? Is platinum not available? I didn’t see it as an option in your drop down menu? No, all my jewelry is free from nickel. No customer needs to worry about allergic effects. For the price point, I’ve not listed Platinum as an option but I do make platinum jewelry if the customer requires this. I have actually made many pieces in platinum by request. What is the difference between 925 silver and Argentium silver? 925 Sterling silver has the lower ability to resist the weather effects. It also gets tarnished in a short time while 935 Argentium Silver has the higher ability to resist the weather conditions. It doesn’t tarnish over time and looks like white gold in appearance and strength. This is the main benefit you can get with just $25-$30 price difference. What has been your favorite trend in moissanite fashion? Ring sets are my favorite trend in moissanite fashion. Solitaire ring sets, accent ring sets or halo ring sets are on trend right now. In addition to that, colored moissanite in Grey, Yellow and Blue are in demand. You can visit my YouTube channel for Videos and regular updates of my eye catching moissanite jewelry products. (YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYMbHPF_QcV5dMG7Iy26E3A) What has been your most interesting custom ring you have made so far? When it comes to the most interesting rings, I have a long list for some dream pieces. I’ve created some royal rings with large gemstones. This one had a lot of bling with a moissanite halo all around the shank and head. The best is the Royal Amethyst Ring. Please see https://youtu.be/y4DhcbFZRAk On hand: https://youtu.be/2j_PPvG_KxI Are you also offering lab diamonds as well as moissanites for your pave rings? Yes, I do offer Lab Grown Diamonds and Moissanites for pave rings. For lab grown diamonds, I have registered a new company with the name OUROS JEWELS. (Link: ourosjewels.etsy.com) I sell ‘certified’ solitaires in any shape and also offer any custom piece in loose Lab Grown Diamonds. I do custom jewelry lab grown diamonds too. Send a message for any custom request and I will be happy to quote you. Some people worry about ordering rings outside North America or Europe but at the same time, they are also interested in cost savings. How long does it take for shipping and do you ship worldwide? Do you also use DHL Express Services? I do offer Free Worldwide shipping. Usually I deliver within 7-8 business days but in the case of Express shipping I promise for Max. 4-5 business days for the delivery. I use DHL Express services for shipping my parcels with additional charges of just $15. You don’t need to worry at all when you’re working with me. My working method is very simple to understand and safe to order. I follow steps listed below: i) Make the CAD for your design and send it to you for checking ii) Cut the stone after the finalized design and send you the video of the stone to confirm iii) On your approval, start making ring and send you the updates about ring iv) Send you the finished product photos and video for confirmation v) Ship your ring to you after your confirmation. I also offer Installments for all orders if it is of listed item or a custom order. What happens if the ring or piece of jewelry arrives and there is a problem with it? Is there any way to send it back for repairs? YES, my policy is very simple if this happens in any case. Buyer’s can contact me within 72 hours if they have received a damaged or are missing an item when they have receive a shipment. I guide them on how to send me the parcel back and then I send them a new fresh piece. My return and exchange policies are customer friendly so one can order without hesitation. Please see here my full shop policy and some FAQs that may help to make it clear if there are any question or queries you have. (Link: https://www.etsy.com/in-en/shop/GoldenBirdJewellery) What does the DGLA certificate stand for? DGLA stands for Diamond and Gem Laboratories of America. I give a certificate of my moissanites and moissanite jewelry from this trusted laboratory if a customer asks for the certificate with an extra charge of just $15. What has surprised you the most about working with the Western market? I love to work with the Western market just because of the way they’re changing the trends in the jewelry market. They especially come with a new demand on every season or festive celebration. They mostly are attracted to personalized or customized things and in that way, I’m specialized to provide what they are imaging. That’s why they love my work. Customer’s fill easy when they represent their idea and I give them the exact output. Is there anything else you would like to tell us about your company? A big thanks to you and all who have made purchases, favorited my shop/items or commented/given me advice personally. Especially thank you so much to Reddit for giving me a chance to present my thoughts by this interview. I’m always here to answer any further questions from Redditor’s and they can also find me on Instagram to clear any doubts with a hashtag #AskGBJ. Thank you so much all. You’re most welcome for any custom requirement about Moissanite and Moissanite jewelry. See you soon! Thank you for your participation! Golden Bird Jewelry can be found on Etsy at goldenbirdjewellery.etsy.com and also on eBay. https://www.etsy.com/shop/goldenbirdjewellery/
Yay we're married! Just over a month ago we had the best day of our lives! Weddit was my number one source of inspiration and support, and I can honestly say my day wouldn't have been what it was without you guys. I know this is going to be really long (it's turned into an actual novel), but I pride myself on my detail tracking and budgeting so if it helps one person, that's all that matters. I've included pictures along the way because my photographer is an angel and gave us all pictures back in one month, and links to vendors I was extremely happy with!
About us: Late twenties professionals, renters, 23 month engagement. We've been together 5 years, and were engaged just after the 3 year mark. We live together on our own in the GTA with one dog child. Location: An Italian restaurant in Windsor, Ontario (my hometown - about 4 hours from our home in the GTA). This venue had an event room above the main restaurant with a kitchen, bar & full bathrooms. We were able to do everything upstairs and all in one place - both the ceremony and reception. Date: May 4th, 2019 Guest Count: 81 invited, 58 RSVP'd Yes, 57 attended (one person couldn't make it as his SO ended up in the hospital). I did an in-depth RSVP breakdown in another post HERE, if you want to take a peek. General Timeline/Vibe: Morning set-up, get ready, first look & all posed photos 3-4:30pm, 5pm ceremony, 30 min cocktail hour, sit down plated dinner, dancing. Very easy going, I wanted to make it a priority to enjoy my own wedding, spend time with guests, eat and drink.
We had initially begun the wedding planning with a goal of keeping it under $10k CAD - we live in a very HCOL area, and with student loans and other debt, we wanted to keep it as low as possible. As we got deep into planning, and discovered things we didn't want to compromise on, the final budget came out to somewhere around the $14k CAD range.
We are extremely lucky that my parents are very well off, and offered to pay for a large majority of the wedding. We honestly couldn't have had the wedding we did without their support.
I made it a point to research as much as possible to make sure we were getting the best vendors we could within our budget (vision, aesthetic, personality).
All of the prices reflected below are in Canadian dollars
Final Total: $15,711.09 (~$11.8k USD) Venue: $560.00
Rental Fee: $500
We had less than their ideal amount of 75 guests, so they did charge us a room fee. Had we bumped the guest list, the venue would have been FREE.
Ivory napkins: $60
They provided black napkins for free, but I was willing to shell out the $60 for ivory napkins to better match the decor and aestheic.
Food & Beverage: $5,918.47
Food: $2,622.41 (incl. tax & gratuity)
4-course meal which included Bruschetta, Antipasto, Salad & Main (Chicken, Salmon or Vegetarian).
The food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. This was one of the places I was not willing to compromise too much. I was adamant I did not want a buffet or family style and I wanted something different than the usual "chicken, pasta & vegetables" that shows up at most banquet hall weddings. This is the reason we went with a restaurant and not a hall.
I ate to much and could barely breathe in my dress lol
Bar: $2,978.71 (incl. tax & gratuity)
Full open bar with a prosecco toast before dinner (with my parents' speech)
This ended up being more than I had budgeted, but everyone had a great time.
Dessert: $317.35 (incl. tax)
We ended up choosing Riverside Pie Cafe to do our dessert table and we don't regret it one bit
They baked everything fresh the morning of the wedding and delivered it to the venue for free
We ended up ordering 126 servings of pie (made up of 1 full size apple pie for cutting, a variety of tarts - pecan, apple, lemon and strawberry-rhubarb, as well as raspberry danishes and walnut brownies)
Almost everything was eaten, and I literally had one bit of the pie we cut, and one bit of lemon tart - I regret eating so much at dinner because I was too full to enjoy the dessert!
Attire: $2,216.50
Dress & Alterations: $1,422.10
My dress was Mori Lee by Madeline Gardiner style 5276 ($1,322.10) and I felt like an absolute princess.
Alterations were done by a nice older lady who came recommended by my mom's friend & boss. She only charged me $100 for hemming the EIGHT layers of my dress, taking in the bust, and added a simple loop bustle. I was shocked when she only asked for $100.
Bride's Accessories: $151.45
I got a simple single layer cathedral veil from Amazon ($14.62) and it was perfect.
My jewellery was from Jon Richard Jewellery ($72.61) - my parents happened to be in the UK and I asked them to pick up a hair comb and earrings while they were there as this is a British company.
I chose to go with flats for my wedding shoes as I knew I would be uncomfortable in heels and would likely take them off sooner than later anyways. I didn't want to hem my dress to heel height and then be tripping over the dress when I took them off, so I chose to stick with flats and hemmed the dress to my height (5' 4"). I went with rose gold t-strap flats from Mod Cloth ($64.22)
Groom's Attire: $642.95
My Husband could not decide on a suit for the longest time. He initially wanted blue, then dark green, then burgundy.. He also thought about getting something custom made, but ultimately decided it wasn't worth the cost as he only wears a suit maybe once a year. He found it difficult to find anything he liked in a colour that he liked for months on end - but finally decided on a blue tuxedo from Simon's ($367.25) which included free hemming of his pants.
Shoes from Steve Madden ($135.60)
Shirt from Moore's, Bowtie & Suspenders from Le Chateau, Cufflinks from Simon's ($140.10)
Rings: $762.15
Bride's: $454.25
14k rose gold & diamond band
Groom's: $454.25
10k rose gold 5mm comfort fit band
This is one of the places where we regret the vendor. We went with an independent, local jeweller and we had a fantastic inital purchase. But the customer service in the following visits and months was appalling. We purchased warranties with each ring but really don't feel comfortable using them again and trusting the store with our rings - super unfortunate and a waste of money for the warranty.
Hair & Makeup: $215.00
I used this makeup artist for my engagement shoot, and rehired her for the wedding.
She recommended a hair stylist and I went forward to book her as well.
They both came to my parent's house on the day of the wedding with assistants, and took amazing care of everyone getting their hair and makeup done.
I didn't require anyone to have either done, and everyone paid their own share
Photographer: $2,150.00
6 hours shooting time, 2 photographers, engagement shoot, USB with all edited photos and a glass presentation box with a few prints
One of our favourite vendors throughout this whole process - she was our age and we just vibed with her so well
We got 15 sneak peek pictures within a week of the wedding and the full gallery of 656 photos a month later!
We are huge supporters of Vistaprint and have been using them for years without issue. This time was no different and we are extremely happy with the results.
I waited for a good discount day and was able to get 50% off of our invitation suites (invite, rsvp & detail cards, envelope seals) for $96.00 (50 sets)
Even though I love Vistaprint, I am not in love with the thickness of their envelopes, so I ordered cream A7 envelopes and pink A2 envelopes from Paper Garden ($58.75) - worth the upgrade for wedding invites in my opinion
Vellum for belly bands: $12.31
In addition to invites, we also ordered menus (60) and little thank you cards (100) for each setting from Vistaprint ($56.57) with a 30% off coupon
Postage ended up costing us $73.90
Florals: $1,184.24
I was initially going to do all the flowers myself using a combination of Costco and bulk online florists, but over the months of planning I decided it would be too stressful for me and too much work (I have ZERO experience flower arranging) in the few days before the wedding
This is a case of "ask your dream vendor for a quote, even if their website says wedding start at double your budget". I had stalked this florist for YEARS before I even got engaged, and thought she would be out of my budget
I reached out to her (and a few other florists) and was surprised at the price she was quoting me - she was actually the lowest quote I got back - huzzah! She was an absolute gem to work with - even after having a baby only a month before my wedding! Stefanie at Bourbon Rose Floral Design
I went with super simple greenery runners, white florals for the bouquets and some accent greenery throughout the space
We reached out to a group of officiants and was put in contact with one who was available, had a Skype call with him as we live in the GTA, and went over the general timeline and how he works
Along with his services, we also had access to a website that provided help in writing a ceremony with all potential elements (both religious and non). I worked through the website, choosing bits and pieces I liked in the months leading up to the wedding, and met up with him a few days prior to the wedding to go over it
Officiant fee: $375.00
Marriage License: $140.00
Weekend Accommodations: $327.41
I booked us a whole house AirBnb from the Friday night before the wedding until Monday morning (3 nights).
It was a 10 minute walk from the venue and a perfect place for us to have a little time alone
My husband also used this as his place to get ready on the day of the wedding and it ended up being great for photos
Decorations & Misc: $1,031.38
I tried to do most things DIY if I could, which is why this number is so large. But I also put things into my fuck it bucket a lot in this category lol
This number is made of a bunch of things - especially because I didn't rent anything and made it if I could. I mentioned a few things that I am really proud of below:
Seating chart and table numbers I made out of acrylic from the hardware store
Placecards (and pie signs) were little acrylic hexagons I got from Amazon here
I was adamant I wanted rose gold or copper charger plates but I wasn't willing to rent them for $3-5 per plate, so I ended up buying white chargers from Dollar Tree for $1.25 each, and spray painting them with copper rose spray paint. This one was definitely a labour of love and I am really happy with the end result
I made the ceremony arch out of copper pipe from Home Depot, plus a set of curtains from IKEA
I spent a lot of time scouring Facebook Marketplace for things, and ended up getting about 1/2 of the candles and holders we used from there - this saved us a lot of money. The other half of the candles were bought at Yummi Candles or IKEA
Also from Facebook Marketplace, I bought a dark globe which we used as our guestbook - people signed with gold sharpies. I'm glad I have something we can display in our home!
Favours & Gifts: $533.41
Instead of favours, we just did a donation to the local humane society. We adopted our dog from there and as we couldn't have our puppy with us at the actual wedding, it was a nice way to think of him. We did manage to take pictures with him before the ceremony though, which we were so happy with!
Everything else in this category is gifts for our parents, Maid of Honour, Best Woman, and two friends who helped us out immensely.
What Went Wrong:
Almost nothing.
I kind of regret not doing the "invisible handcuff" thing with my husband. I found we were separated for quite some time - either talking to people we hadn't seen in years, or getting air outside at different times..
The music and dancing were not what I had envisioned.
I used Spotify on an iPad and the venue provided speaker system.
Spotify was great and we had a great time, but some guests kept changing the music by themselves and ruining the flow of songs that I had worked for MONTHS on, which to this day still kind of irks me.
Not as many people as I had expected got up to dance as much - but that didn't stop me lol
What Went Right:
Almost everything. Really.
Weather was great - it was raining a few days before, but was beautiful on the day and I was able to keep my plans for outdoor photos before the ceremony
Food and drinks were fantastic. Ate too much Italian food.
We had everyone there that we wanted aside from a few family members overseas.
I married my best friend.
Now that I've literally written more than a lot of my college papers, hopefully this helps or inspires someone else in the journey of wedding planning. Yay!
Hello! Since my meta post on improving appearance got over 70+ upvotes (not so many but there are a lot of people on this sub) I decided to make one for girls and one for guys (tips+links+personal advice etc) I tried to make post for guys but it got deleted because it was the 2nd meta post of the week and it was too basic, so I am restarting all over again. I am going to start with the one for girls (even if there are more guys here than girls) because it's easier for me being a girl myself and obviously it's going to be more long and detailed (I am sorry about that but for guys I will have to do more research). Both posts will be about looks only, personality is a lot more complicated and everyone likes different personality traits (the same can be said about looks but when talking about appearance it can be more generic). Some things will be my personal opinion and I know different websites that are girl-oriented so it's going to be long lol Many people who post here are average or even above and I don't understand how some here decided to post in the first place but low-self esteem, body image issues etc can mess up with self perception. Anyway, I think everyone can improve with a better fashion style, haircut etc I am sorry if I make any grammar or spelling mistakes but English isn't my first language and at them moment here at my place it's so hot I can barely focus, we have no AC lmao P.S: I know this website is US oriented so the links are going to be in English and American oriented, I know many here aren't from the US so I am sorry (I am not American myself, I am from Italy) FOR GIRLS Ok, let's start from the top: Hair: Hair is really important for appearance in both sexes but it plays a more important role for girls. Let's divide them in three categories: haircut, haircolor and haircare. HAIRCUT: generic How to determine face shape to pick a proper haircut Find the perfect haircut for your face shape (with pics) (This one is really specific with face types) More specific: Round: 123 Oval: 456 Square: 789 Oblong: 101112 Heart: 131415 Diamond: 161718 There are a lot of examples with pics, I have an oblong face and I cut them like this, but the hair color is different (light brown with blonde highlights) and I have no curls (I have natural straight hair). HAIRCOLOR: This one is tricky, you can stick to your natural haircolor and change it drastically. How to get an idea based on skin tone, preference and hair type: 1920212223 I am not going to suggest any kind of hair dye since I have no experience (I only got highlights once) and they could cause an allergic reaction to someone or not suited for your hair. I only bought Missha 7 days treatment to try and it was blue, but I haven't used it yet so idk HAIRCARE: This part is essential to keep your hair healthy, especially if you plan to dye them or use a lot a curling iron etc Haircare routine tips: example 1example 2 DIY hair masks: examples Damaged hair Colored hair How to take care of: Straight hair: 2425 Curly hair: 262728 How to find out your hair type To purchase: I was pretty satisfied by the Sleeping Hair Mask by Sephora but there are many on the market I also found this Eating proper food is important, also I read there are vitamins specifically for your hair like SugarBearHair Vitamins or this one but I have never tried so I have no idea if they work or not. EDIT: Some told me SugarBear Vitamins do not work so I am adding this edit as a reminder, I heard about them so often I thought they were legit lmao I suggest eating a lot of fruits and veggies and drink a lot of water, proteins and vitamins help hair growth (and nail growth). Eyebrows: Based on face shape: 2930 (general) Round: 31 Oval: 32 Diamond: 33 Square: 34 Heart: 35 Oblong: 36 Eyebrows care routine tips: 373839 Skincare: Another essential part, a few basic tips are: 1) eat fruits and veggies regularly 2) drink a lot of water 3) avoid dairy products (especially if you have acne) 4) eat certain foods that help (here there's a list) 5) avoid picking/scratching your skin 5) avoid aggressive products 6) use products daily/weekly (depends on your skin type) I am going to put several links because I don't have much of experience with skin products but I read a lot of reviews. I have combination skin but no acne issues, I was lucky enough to just have a few pimples once in a while but I don't follow a routine everyday. Sometimes I use a cleanser or do an occasional face mask (mostly on my nose) but that's it. Find out your skin type and what kind of skincare routine suits you Examples of super fancy Korean skincare routine (I suggest Korean and Japanese products for skincare): 4041 More simple ones: 4041 Suggested websites: Yesstyle Lush Kiehl (this probably tests on animals though) Cruelty-free brands (I am linking this because I don't condone animal testing for make-up and skincare products or anything similar) Natural face masks (for every type of skin or almost): 424344454647 About the Ph of the products For acne scars: 4849 If you have severe acne, take this with a grain of salt. You probably need medications to ease it off and you should go to a doctor, don't use aggressive random products and/or try too many things to see if they work. I suggest no wearing make up or less make up and see if it helps or change brands. Body care: Routines: 505152 I am going to make a separate category for shaving/waxing: Body hair: Body hair can be truly a pain but removing it should be a personal choice only, especially on the lower parts. Shaving: When shaving, NEVER do it with dry skin. This matters on every part of your body, if you do it 99,9% you will cut yourself and it will be partly ineffective. I suggest fillling the tub with hot water, lying in there for 5-10 minutes and scrub your body with honey and sugalemon and sugar to remove dead skin and then shave. Clean the razor everytime if it's too dirty with hot water so the razor is effective enough for both legs (you can use two if you want). If you can scrub a few weeks prior to avoid ingrown hair and pluck the darker ones with a tweezer. Waxing: Waxing takes more time but you can do it at home if you don't want to go to a professional (I did a few times and it wasn't worth it if it's not constant), the hair will go weaker and less coarse if you do it every 3-6 weeks and no shaving. Hair-removal strips are effective enough if used correctly, you just need to have a firm hand. A few useful links: 53545556 Manicure: A few useful links: 57585960 A tip for nail biters: If you bite your nails and/or the skin around your nails you can wear nail polish to avoid it or gloves, it helps a lot! Or there's specific bitter nail polish for this purpose (I have this issue and sometimes my hands are butchered lmao) Pedicure: Links: 61626364 Body type: How to find out your body shape: 6566 (this might not be accurate) Calculate: BMI: 67 Waist to hip ratio: 68 Bra size: 6970 (might not be accurate) How to take body measurements For weight loss: Tips: 717273 Foods that help to lose weight: 74757677 Foods to avoid when trying to lose weight: 7879 Work-out routines: 808182 For weight gain: Tips: 83848586 Foods that help to gain weight: 8788899091 Fashion advice: How to dress based on body type: 929394 Sites I like for online shopping and/or I found randomly: Yesstyle Romwe Zaful Syndromestore Tally Weijl (I mostly buy clothes in shops rather than on the site) Bershka Akira Alien Mood Kogitetsu There're also jewellery, accessories and purses if you are interested! Make-up: I think wearing make-up should be a personal choice, feel free to experiment but you shouldn't feel forced to wear it everyday and everytime you go out. Personally I wear a lot of concealer, setting powder, mascara and some lipstick but it's not a tragedy to go make-up free to be honest. [REVIEW] Tiffany Fleur de Lis earrings and necklace in 18k white gold from Wenzhi Chen

Seller: Wenzhi (on the TS list) WeChat: jewelry66888 WhatsApp: +8618250767528 or +8615715989956 Email: [email protected] Instagram: @jewelry_yomi Price: $300 for the necklace, $400 for the earrings = $700 total (~£550) Payment method: Western Union (+£6.90 fee) Shipping: DHL Rep stats: Necklace 0.09 carat, Earrings 0.19 carat, GVS diamonds, both in 18k white gold Retail price: £1,575 for the necklace, £2,425 for the earrings, both in platinum = £4k total
Tiffany is my favourite jewellery brand, before I found out about reps I used to buy myself one auth piece every year. I always thought the Fleur de Lis range is the perfect balance between simple and fancy. I own simple diamond studs but always wanted something a bit more intricate to wear to special occasions.
QUALITY: EARRINGS 10/10 - NECKLACE 9.5/10
Both pieces are consistent with my other white gold jewellery in terms of colour, weight and feel. I was a bit concerned about the diamonds because they looked yellow in the PSPs. Wenzhi assured me they are GVS. They look clear in person, so I assume they must have been reflecting something in the room in the PSPs. The Au750 engraving on the little plate on the necklace is sloppy and a bit crooked (N -0.50). Other than that, I can't see any obvious craftsmanship flaws.
ACCURACY: BOTH 7.75/10
Please take this part with a grain of salt. I had a hard time finding any references for these pieces. I’ve managed to find a couple of references for the necklace on preowned websites, I’ve also visited the Tiffany flagship store in my city, but they only had the earrings in stock, I had a quick look at them, but didn’t really handle them to check the engravings. I’ve never seen the necklace in person. There is a Purse Forum thread where there are references for many of the other pieces in the Fleur de Lis collection, but the ones I bought haven’t been posted there. It’s very difficult to make an accurate assessment without more references and/or the auth in hand. The main inaccuracy that pertains to both pieces is that they’re made of 18k white gold. The auths only come in platinum (E -1.0), (N -1.0), as a result the engravings are also inaccurate, since the markings will be Au750 instead of PT950 (E -0.25), (N -0.25). There are other engravings in both pieces that are so small I can’t even read them. I’m sure there must be something off about them (depth, height, font), but considering they are likely only legible with a loupe, I won’t be taking any points off for those. Earrings The first thing I noticed when I received these is that the motifs are very small. I’m not sure if this is an inaccuracy, as they are indeed listed as “mini” on the Tiffany website. On the Purse Forum thread, people have also noted that they were surprised by how small the motifs are when they went to check them out in person. There aren’t any measurements listed on the website and when I asked Wenzhi about it, he quoted me the same carat that was listed for each piece on the Tiffany website. I have no way of measuring the diamond carat to check if it’s correct or not, and I haven’t seen the auth necklace in person, but from memory, the earrings do look slightly smaller than the auths I saw in person (E -0.50). The earring backs are definitely wrong. My auth Tiffany diamond studs have simple ‘Friction’ backs, whereas these came with ‘Protektor' backs. Looking at other preowned Tiffany earrings online, I can see many with ‘Screw’ and ‘Latch’ (like VCA Vintage Alhambra) type backs, but ‘Protektor’ back earrings seem very uncommon, although they do exist, such as this one. I’m pretty sure the rep Protektor backs are the exact same that I got with my rep VCA earrings (also from Wenzhi) and they’re not branded but rather just generic earring backs, they’re both only stamped with “750” on the inside. The auth Tiffany Protektor backs on that stud pair I linked look much thicker, have differently shaped details and have branded engravings (E -0.50). I don’t know for sure if these earrings are meant to have Protektor backs, but I would guess not, considering I haven’t seen this type of earring back on any other Tiffany earrings I ever saw or tried on in store, they might be more common among vintage models. Necklace The main flaws with the necklace are in the chain. In the first set of PSPs there were many things that were off about it, but more on that later. The chain is meant to be 16”, the rep chain is not quite that, I believe it’s closer to 15 than 16 inches (N -0.25). It’s also not meant to be adjustable, in fact I have never seen a Tiffany’s adjustable chain, I don’t think they make them. The adjustable link bothers me, considering it is visible when I have my hair up. And even more so since the extra link doesn’t even close around my neck. At ~15”, this necklace already sits quite high, almost like a choker, so the adjustable link is not even usable (N -0.25). The little Tiffany branded plate near the clasp has some errors. The engraving for the branding looks too thick and like it's in all caps, on the auth only the T and C are bigger than the other letters, it looks like it's missing the dot after Co. The Au750 engraving also looks sloppy and slightly crooked. The rings that hold the plate should be different (smaller, thinner towards the pendant, larger and thicker towards the closure), on the rep they are exactly the same. The plate itself is a slightly different shape to the auth, more rounded. (N -0.50) for all.
PACKAGING
I don’t have all of my auth packaging on hand to compare, so I won’t get into too much detail.
Tiffany Boxes Oddly, the two boxes Wenzhi sent are different colours. One is more green and the other one is closer to auth Tiffany blue.
Pouches The font on the Tiffany branding is slightly off and the cord is too blue. The pouch itself is a little bit more green than blue and should be a few mm longer.
Jewellery boxes The black boxes themselves are heavy and feel like they’re high quality. Again, the branding is slightly off (thickness of fonts and the like), and I’m not sure if these items would have been sent with these specific types of boxes. But from memory, they feel very similar to my auth Tiffany boxes.
SATISFACTION: 8/10
I’m happy with these overall and think they’ll make a nice addition to my jewellery collection. There are a few aspects that could have been better of course. I wasn’t prepared for how small the motifs would be, I don’t think the pendant is very noticeable from anything more than an arm's length. It’s a bit frustrating not knowing if this is an accuracy flaw or if the auth is just designed to be this small as well. The earring backs don’t bother me, no one will be inspecting my earring backs and these are so easy to lose anyway. I could have just bought some generic ones as a replacement. I will be happier with the necklace once the chain is fixed. If/when I ever order any more custom 18k jewellery, I will certainly try to pick something less “obscure” so that I can find more references to provide the sellefactory with.
SELLER RATING AND COMMUNICATION: 7/10
I decided to go with Wenzhi for this order because previously I had a great experience ordering from him. This time, although I’m overall happy with the product, I feel like communication was lacking a little bit. I reached out to Wenzhi and placed the order in mid/late January, he told me factories would be closed from Jan 25 until Feb 15 for Chinese New Year and that the order would be ready by the end of February. February comes and goes and I reach out to him again to check if it’s ready. All throughout March Wenzhi kept telling me “3 days more, 4 days more”. This happened several times and I would always ask him a few days after these periods ended if the order was ready. I don’t like “chasing” sellers like this, but Wenzhi never reached out to me and had I not asked him multiple times, I wouldn’t have gotten any updates. I often felt like he had forgotten about my order. I don’t actually know what caused these delays and I do wish Wenzhi had told me the cause rather than let me speculate about it, or at least reached out to me proactively to let me know it would take more time. I don’t mind waiting, but I do need some reassurance that my order hasn’t been forgotten. I was also concerned about receiving the order on time because I’m travelling at the end of April and will be in a different country for just over a month, so I needed to receive this order before going away, otherwise I would have to wait until June to ship it. Before ordering, I figured almost 3 months would be enough time to receive it. The second problem I had also pertains to communication, specifically about the flaws on the necklace. On the first set of PSPs I could tell that the chain was off. I explained to Wenzhi all the things that were wrong with the chain and sent pictures from the auth references compared to the rep circling out flaws (chain should not be adjustable, only one closure ring, Tiffany plate needed to be on the other side, length should be 16 inches). On the second set of PSPs the chain looked right and he confirmed that the flaws were fixed. When I received it, the chain was too short and the adjustable link was still there. Going back to the second set of PSPs, he sent me 3 pictures and 1 video. On the video and 2 of the pictures the adjustable link was hidden behind his fingers, in one picture it was technically partially visible, but it was strategically placed sideways and between his fingers. On the previous set of PSPs (1 video and 4 pictures for the necklace) the link was visible on every single one apart from one close up shot of the pendant. I also asked him about the length of the chain and he confirmed that it was 16 inches, but didn’t send me a picture measuring it. When I contacted Wenzhi about this and explained that the adjustable link shouldn’t be there and that the chain was too short he said he forgot about it. Before shipping he confirmed that this had all been fixed so I'm confused, it also looks like the remaining adjustable link was moved further down the chain. He did offer to pay for the repair. The jewellery shop closest to me gave me a rough estimate of £75 to remove the link and lengthen the chain, but the shopkeeper said it might end up being more than that since it's 18k gold. I’ve since asked another shop nearby and they quoted me £60 just to remove the link and attach it to the end of the necklace, they weren’t confident in lengthening the chain because they would have to match the shape of the links and the colour of the gold precisely. These are both small family owned shops and I believe they work mostly with 9k and 14k gold pieces. I probably wouldn’t be too confident taking this to a high street retailer since it’s an obvious rep. When I gave Wenzhi the quotes he changed his mind and kept pressing for me to break the chain and ship it back to him for the repair, since of course labour is much cheaper in China. I’ve tried asking multiple times if he would cover the shipping and if he would replace it if it was seized. Considering our previous misunderstandings, I wasn’t confident sending this back and risking losing £500+ due to communication problems. I also had a time constraint at this point since I was leaving the country in less than a month and didn’t want to risk having to wait until June to the necklace back. He agreed to pay for part of the repair fee (£55) and I’ll pay the rest. I’m still trying to decide what is the best repair option for this necklace, but I’ll take it to get fixed on my next day off so that it can be ready before my holiday. I appreciate that Wenzhi worked with me to get this right, but I do wish we had both been spared the time, money and effort to get this repaired after the fact. It would certainly have been much simpler to have had the chain made to the right length and remove the adjustable link at the same time that all the other details were getting fixed.
*RINGS* MEGA-LIST. Where to buy fly rings and embellish those fancy digits!
I was browsing around for some statement rings (it started out that I wanted a particular ouroboros ring) and I ended up going a little crazy, so compiled this list of various sellers for you guys. I'm not familiar with hype-beast jewelry so apologies for lack of Supreme, Yeezy etc. If you're going to be wearing multiple rings at once, I recommend first deciding which metal scheme you'll want to go for: silver or gold. Stick to one so that you can always mix and match. Rose gold and copper tend to go with either. BEWARE of buying cheap rings online- they're usually very flimsy/flexible and end up breaking after a few wears or just generally feel like cheap plastic (forever 21, Aliexpress and ASOS are guilty of this). Imo ETSY is the best place to find unique rings online. There's a lot of shit to sift through though, so know your keywords and make sure the seller has good reviews. Almost every seller has their own version of a skull ring. Find the right skull for you! RING SIZING GUIDE:https://ensorings.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/stringtest-min.png SOME TERMS (I'm not getting into engagement/diamond rings here, that's a whole 'nother ballgame) Bezel: a setting holding the stone in place using a raised surrounding for the stone with a lip encircling and overlapping the edges of the stone Cameo: carved relief portrait traditionally carved from semi-precious stone or glass, traditionally with contrasting colors Faceted: multiple angles of flat surfaces (could refer to gemstone or metal surface) Signet: a small decorative seal, or simply a flat surface at the front (see also: sovereign ring and Seal of Solomon) Oxidized Silver: true sterling silver, but it’s surface has been intentionally darkened (patina) by introducing it to a sped-up version of the natural tarnishing process Gold-plated: a thin layer of gold over another metal (usually silver or copper) Enamel: Transparent, durable coating made by fusing powdered glass to a substrate via firing Sterling Silver: an alloy of silver containing 92.5% by weight of silver and 7.5% by weight of other metals (usually copper) Aqeeq: traditional Islamic-style ring with mounted quartz gemstone Filigree: delicate, ornamental work, sometimes cut directly through the metal. Hi I posted last week regarding advice buying an engagement ring, and I've since done some more research and feel more confident in what I'm looking for. However, I'm not the most confident at the best of times, doubly so considering the amount of money I'll be parting with and the magnitude of the purchase! I want to get this right, so really appreciate any help you can give. I am looking for an emerald engagement ring, with a white gold band, in a three-stone style. My maximum budget is around £800, but ideally £500-600. I've been and looked in some jewellers (I live in Manchester) and couldn't find anything that really fit the bill. I've looked online - and found these two. https://www.chisholmhunter.co.uk/jewellery/coloured-stones/emerald/18ct-white-gold-round-brilliant-0-22ct-emerald-and-0-13ct-diamond-three-stone-claw-set-ring.html and https://www.purelydiamonds.co.uk/a-beautiful-emerald-diamond-ring-with-shoulder-stones-in-18ct-white-gold#?gemstone_type=331&cat=130 What do you think? Are these decent quality/value for what they are? If not, where would you recommend me looking for this ring - either reputable online outlets, or shops in or around Manchester? Thanks so much!

Golden Earrings and Cheesewheels: Some Thoughts on The Laughing Cow Mandela Effect, Russian Spies, Quaker Oats Guy, and The Last Supper.
Original post on this ME about the laughing cow's gold earrings, turning into cheese packets. My discussion below includes commentary about the nature of residue as discussed in this thread, from where the comment below was taken.
Do you have, like, any proof of this? Or are you just making this up? Can you even show that this energy exists? Do you know the definition of the word energy? Energy can be measured. If something is changed, everything resulting from it changes. It's called causality.
"Causality? Yes. Every universe has a set causality, you can even claim full spectrum determinism for that universe, if you like, then everything was predetermined from the original positions of particles, forces, pressure, energy, whatever the fuck was there during the big bang. So how can a causally determined system, insert itself into the causal system of another (when they are separate universes, bounded by the limit of their wave function, the system with no limit, except for the limit it itself has. Legit scientific statement, that. I saw it on a documentary)?
I dunno, maybe from passing through the pre big bang, omniversal operator, where the unification of quantum and Einsteinian physics, are theorised to explain and predict outcomes, of the universe we see with our very own eyes. Theoretical Physicists are looking for that, you know. How wave functions and macro particle equations of whole universes interact together, in laws and mathematics. That might have a bit of explanatory power."
Doesn't look like we've found that operator, though, because we're not all seeing the same things [1]. Are we. Perhaps the message gets through, necessarily, from before space-time started, through metaquantum entanglement (entangled through every quantum possible state of that object, over meta time and space)/ But as a result of this communication, if anything gets through, because it’s a long way to shout, eh, the universe in question might just decide to reply with an "I heard you" and stay the way it was. A bit. Maybe because of an echo, down through the causal line, from both the beginning of all time, and up through the quantum entangled sub sub atomic particles, in the same 'moment', from another universe, which shouted really loud. It was definitely swag though, with all that jewellery on, so I'm not surprised.
The cheesewheel universe may have heard the golden earing universe. Who knows how us weirdos communicate with skeptics, over the distances we are separated in logic and mind. I have a fair bit of trouble getting through to the flat earth idiots, running around the script, as well, so the problem's universal. The quality of the logic may be pulled down just slightly, in this universe with the marks of residue, in deference to that previous jewel which once graced this Apis bull's ear. Because it doesn't make a heap of sense now, to claim confabulation for the nose ring missing ME, with a pair of earring which are packets of cheese, rather than gold rings, which deserve to be argued as confabulatory items. Anyone claiming a wheel of cheese could be confabulated for a golden nose ring, says more about his level of stupidity, rather than his target's. Strict causality may not apply, if objects can communicate with each other through a space which does not display the usual laws of causality or linkage to the place which is so, because it communicates with itself as it was before space time existed, but quantum potentials look like they still did. Theory, yeah sure, exactly what the quantum theorists and some philosophers are talking about in research departments both above, and under the ground. This science is already here.
[1] I propose that the applied use of the mathematics of the omniversal operator, brings our universe into focus, literally, as it is directly applied in technology, philosophy as a scientific revolution, of sorts. Mandela Effect clears up, as we bring our calculated position in the omniversal matrix of possible universes into understanding and navigated control. It's a holy grail, this shit, to heaps of disciplines.
What else can these mathematical principals do? Predict the results of interaction between universes, you know, like when they use maths to predict the most likely position of an electron in its shell, but instead they transfer it to predicting the most likely position of macro particle, in the field of competing universes, such that the most likely universe to exist, as calculated, displays as the one we see – and of the most likely universe to exist in front of you, with zero error, mind you. When a theory gives predictions through its mechanics, such that it describes that mechanic and outcome, then like a picture of it, it is. This unified theory is a holy grail of theoretical physics and philosophy as well, I might add. Why is it so strange to postulate about communication and 'residue' between universes, when not only to people in academia do it, but so do other people who might like to make constructive use of their thinking time. Staying ahead of the game, is a wave some people like to catch.
To apply these mechanics to the physical world, what kind of technology can we produce? What has already been produced, and still doesn't work quite right, because the mathematics of the omniversal operator aren't properly mapped and understood yet? Wonder if the application of that is why the quantum integrity of our universal cohesion is lacking. That, and its mechanical reflection of the mental limitations of the people involved. It's a bit hairy, when you consider it that way. Direct consequences of mental aberrations, to the quantum integrity of the planet, due to proximity to the omniversal operator's navigation seat. Might want to give that seat up for a person qualified to drive, shortly. The theory itself, comes with conditionals and subtext – be aware of that. It comes through with its highest definitional being a person, both a person and a person. Well it does, I'm not going to lie. I've written about it before.
To have focus and stability, the majority universe must emanate from one person, so that there isn't dual existences, for when the greatest accuracy is required. You manifest one millimeter the wrong way, if you think about it, and you could cross a blue wire with a red, coming out with a dinosaur hanging off your nose by its sphincter. Who knows. Space time aint a place to fuck around. Neither is it when moving a ship forward and fast, when a quantum anomaly appears in your temporal headlights and you have to escape the pull of some fucking cluster fuck black hole, threatening to engulf the planet, quite like the situation at present, actually. How can I claim this? Well years of dedicated study for a start. Then there's the knowing that I've got the correct distances and proportions to translate any object from one universe into another, bringing about the highest potential outcome universe, for all. Someone's got to do it. Calibration with the lowest possible error, is a thing. Selective audience, you know who you are.
A cow is the symbol of prosperity. All its gold has been lost. That's the story of the entire earth system. This beautiful cow was adorned with golden jewellery, now she's wearing cheese packets, in some tacky version. cheese packets. That's a bit cruel isn't it? Not only will we treat you with disrespect as a creature, but here you go, wear all that milk we pulled from you, on your ear lobes. You have beauty and fertility and wealth? We'll take all of that, and if we don't, mismanagement will take the rest. Here, take these cheese packet earrings in return. It's a statement, about the state of the world. It is Saying something, in its language, in the interaction between universes. That's the result. Nice huh. I could have told you that mixing fuckwits with power, leads to poverty stricken outcomes. You could have yourself, if you think about it.
There is a set of labelled objects within the set [objects which are possibly the laughing cows earrings]. They are ALL objects which bear the label [objects which are possibly the laughing cow's earrings], while they also have different labels such as, round golden hoops, cow bells etc. When we communicate with each other, through universes, the identity of the earrings are passed between the two using the higher level set of descriptions of [objects which could be the laughing cows earrings].
The jewellery turned into cheese packets did they? That's not very kosher, is it. I mean is "gold" too, a way of being? Such that you are infact the gold you emanate? Money is what you make of it, don't you think. That's a poor deal, sacrificing the immortal beauty of those golden earrings for cheese packets, which last 5 minutes, then you need a new one. Eventually, you become what you deal. Dealerrrrrrsssssss. Dealer up.
Don't get me wrong, I love cheese. I love leather. I love fur. I like a steak and kidney pie, but there's a right and a wrong way to do things. And I don't just mean 'cos its morally right', I mean because the direct quantum equations which result from it, collapse the integrity and structure of your very existence, from the base level, if you don't do things right by the whole system. It's joined up such that what you do, directly impacts what does you. Because you are doing you. No other poor sod, has to stand in the way, picking up the slack of your multiple unethical retardations.
It's not just the powdered plastic which mimics protein when analysed in the baby formula in China which is corrupting the system, is it. That's why Chinese people have bought up our baby formula and dairies. They recently bought out Australia's largest dairy, so they could have direct access to our milk products, especially our baby formula. How retarded is it, that a country which has the prefect capacity to produce their own dairy products, buy up ours? Because it's easier than implementing quality control and standards in their own systems? What the fuck? How is that going to help, when there's no mass production of cheap consumables large enough to satisfy the Chinese market, when all its citizens are demanding a living, minimum wage? What, India going to support that market are they? Perhaps Africa? And what then? It is a non sustaining system, this pyramid thing. Revolution to a self supporting system, eh? Well then, let's see it. The only currency then, is how well can you steer. Better than you, mate, because I look after the cows.
Ex Russian Spy and his daughter, attacked with nerve agent in London park. OK then, You only kill like this when you want to send a message. That is not the way to remove an actual threat. The thing which stood out, was of course the methodology. Oh so Russian and Spy. Nerve gas, in a park. What message does it send? Well on the surface it appears to be Russia showing everyone their big balls and general 'Big Boy' attitude, they put around the traps. If you take what the American's are giving us, as the real specs. I mean take a look at the bottom of this article:
"Mr. Nixey, of Chatham House, said many government officials believed that Britain was too small to act alone against Russia, and could do things like imposing sanctions or seizing assets only in coordination with the rest of Europe or with the United States."
Yeah, so, implicating Britain, in the Russia-America problem, suits the interests of those who wish to provoke a war, and need a bit of a hand, come in whether you want to or not, we aim to procure... and yet, nah, they can never quite manage an initiation. Keep going, fuckwits, people won't bite. No one except America has that kind of 'need for speed'. America's going to have to go it lone, when it comes down to it. Go on. Attack the Kremlin. I don't reckon anyone would be on your side. Public sentiment is far too picky, and lower level governmental weight, uncomfortably providential, when push comes to shove. The War aint going to happen. "Well we can have profitable spats in the mean time, can't we?"
Response to this comment, on the doorway under the table in Davinci's Last Supper, which is a possible new ME as of this date:
Comment:
"I’ve actually seen this in person and they explain it as an accident. Apparently they were on the other side and were like “this seems like a good spot for a door” it was only after they fucked up the painting they realized what happened."
Response:
Holy shit. Excuse my language, but that's very ironic.
MEDIEVAL CATHEDRALSHIP APPRENTICE: "Sorry, Holy See, we accidentally knocked off the feet of Our Lord Jesus Christ."
Holy See: "Well I guess he won't be leading us anywhere, will he. No feet. How can the tears of our Virgin Mary anoint our feet anymore, without the deliverance of Our Lord Jesus Christ? WHY couldn't you just go the long way around, and be cautious, and respectful of the beauty which surrounds you? No. You had to choose convenience, didn't you. Doorways: just force a hole, to the other side. Barbaric. Now look what you've done. You've knocked the feet of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Of course there's something on the other side – it's a wall. In a place of worship, frequented by very reputable craftsmen, painters of the highest illuminated orders, what did you think was on the other side? A men's urinal and a speakeasy? What are we going to do now? Wheelchair or freaky metal legs like that South African guy wore, who had some serious personal issues, for the Lord Jesus Christ? Who is going to paint that back on the wall? Eh? Any of you renaissance men see that far into the future? To be able to paint on that wall the technology which will give Jesus mobility again, which will not be invented until 500 years into the future, so that the picture is returned, to its whole? "
"But it's a painting. Why does it matter, Your Excellency?"
"It is NOT just a painting. It is a painting which will be great, echoing its magnificence down through the centuries. People will see this and proclaim Christ's name. They will observe him eating and drinking, and wonder of the mysteries of the cross. It is an immortal piece of art. It influences people, causal lines, through inspiration, tourism, symbology, myth and lore. It has power, of its own."
"Yeah, but it's still just a painting, though, isn't it. It doesn't really matter if I damage it."
"Have you wondered why the Christ has not yet turned up? Maybe it's because you cut off his immortal feet, and he can't get here. Ever wondered that? He is probably crawling here on his arms and what's left of his legs, from kingdom come, to here, with the journey enough, being a requisite initiation. What constitutes the Christ upon the earth? These buildings which soar to the heavens, lifting the soul and the mind to golden swan of the high vaults. The books which speak his name. The art which bears his image. The iconic classics of the time... that is all immortal physiology. Things which last forever, but now they never seem to do. These things are the body of the Christ."
"But what does he do else but die for us? Isn't that what he came for, so we could kill him [or some party with which we are certainly not affiliated could kill him, but we take no responsibility for that] because who cares, right, he just comes back from the dead, has to because that's how it works, right??"
It's a huge game of chicken, more like. With one of those big arse black giant chickens scarabperformance found... realised were there. The system cannot be separated from itself, wherever the Christ goes, you go. "But then we go to heaven?"
How can I even reason, with this type of mentality? It's a basic disrespect and understanding of the real risks and limits of nature. How do you tell someone it isn't worth going somewhere, if they refuse to accept your word for it? I've been down there, right to the end, and it aint pretty. It doesn't even GO anywhere. You just sit at the bottom until you climb back up again, That’s the final joke. No death, but you CAN now work off your crimes, debt or benefit from your spiritual wealth. I suppose that's funny, really.
There's a number of problematic translations of the issue, circulating, so it's difficult. For you. I'm sure. And me I suppose.
Quaker Oats: Doodle or Dandy? This one's weird. I've just had a good think about this. This is what I remember. A guy, on the front, dressed in a soft blue tricorne hat with white trimming and possibly some white feathers. I can see his upper torso, including a soft blue coat, with gold buttons. He has a white wig, a similar if not more inviting expression to the Quaker currently at hand and he is possibly even holding something in his hands. An instrument (something metal, it looks kind of like a telescope)? Something rolled up? I can't tell. This got me thinking... what if these oats weren't called Quaker Oats in our universe, but something different. Maybe like Dandy Oats, or Yankee Oats or Quokka Oats (Idfk). What if they had a different name in that universe, but here, Quaker is the closest translation this universe had? Or was the definition of Quaker itself, different in our universe, to this one? Maybe Quakers in our timeline, took the expression of the light and god within, to include nice dress and ceremony. Perhaps they had slightly different concerns in our historical timeline and managed to become quaking and evangelical, from a slightly more socially elevated level, than this current universe, where people made a trend of self expression, and self as the godly home. Some of the principle which America was founded on, I believe.
This picture is quite strong in my mind, and for sure it was associated with oats. I looked up Quaker and Uncle Tobys logo history and no guy.
"So then it's your fault. You never looked up the true detailed identity description of what a Quaker was in your old reality' Did you?"
Well yeah, I had some idea of what a Quaker was, but I never looked up their origins, no. I knew them as a passionate religious population. I'd seen them around. I knew some early affiliations of where they hung out. And anyway, just because the one which has showed up on this "Quaker packet" is the one we see, doesn't mean it's the right calculation or definition. It just "showing up" isn't proof of its superiority. "Isn't survival, superiority". Well you haven't survived yet, have you. Without those upper class codes, which that dapper Quaker dressed, good luck cutting your diamond sharp enough to sparkle, to be able to sort through the finest of threads, required for when the gradient gets steep. Just because I wasn't an expert on Quakers doesn't mean I had a worse definition than you. I can have a better definition than you by not even looking at it. Because my potential definition is superior, always, if I haven't gotten there already. "So why then has ours manifested and yours not?" Well you might have to read that ontology post a bit more, because I'm pretty sure it's in there. Your calculations are being carried out from a universal operator in the omniversal's place, which means that none of your potentials move. They don't go anywhere.
"But we still hold the sway"
"So does a person who has just realised he stuck his dick into a toaster, and the toaster just figured out how to turn itself on"
Majoritively, the sway will have to learn the hard way. Definitionally we will be found when we meet at the omniversal common denominator, the colour beige. Welcome to beige. At least we can rip the guts out and start again. A beige house is easy to do up.
So were Quakers pirates in my previous universe? A telescope and a tricorne hat? I dunno, maybe they were. I think they had a softer definition in my universe. That picture served just fine. They had social responsibility while still having fun on the side. I mean doesn't everyone, do that? Maybe they were just cooler with themselves about it, in my universe.
I'm still open to the possibility that this "guy" is on another brand of food, or is perhaps affiliated with an oat/cereal product which did the rounds more in Australia and/or the UK. I haven't found anything yet, though, and I've been looking. My guy looks more like how you'd imagine Issac Newton being dressed if he got dressed up, rather than a puritan. Does anyone know if this guy exists somewhere else, or did the doodle dandies just lose their way along that road of self aggrandisement.
I was just reading about part of the Cadiz roman aqueduct being recently uncovered after storm Emma. It used to extend from the mainland, across the water, over to what was then, the Island of Cadiz. I mean look at this. The Romans didn't have access to cast steel and iron, on the magnitude required to build something like this. They didn't have the technological ability. But look what they could do with bricks and concrete. Look at that. Gap? We'll cover it. And it's lasted for almost 2 thousand years. And everyone got clean water, in town. Their well water quality was not very good in roman Spain apparently. Probably still is, from what I have seen from the landscape and ecosystem of Spain. I reckon it would have been pretty hard living in Spain, without brought in water courses. Is that why Spain went to shit? I always wondered what happened to Spain. They were so powerful at one point, a centre of courtly fashion and architecture. As soon as the world hits 1600s, they just kind of fall off the map. The rest is just a muddy field of civil war, mad bourbons, olive oil and tapas. Where did anyone ever find comfort in that land? Are there actual trees I don't know about? It always looks like Australian semi arid desert when I see it on Escape to the Continent. Too hot and sunny for anyone who likes the cold to stimulate their mind.
"No. I get it. You are saying that just like with the lindbergh baby, even 'changing or altering' the past doesn't remove the original object. It still remains, holding up the situation. Like structural supports. Necessary for the future."
Yeah. There is geometrical integrity. The keys of support, which got you to where you are to begin with. Maybe even people of the past, just as much as people of the future. People like Leonardo Da Vinci, who had a lot to say about certain subjects. Not like whoever gave the Mona Lisa a botched smile job, like those fake smile botchanics, from The Simpsons. Does it really take that much, to get a lady to smile? Being a nice human, every now and again, might have been a more....permanent gain.
"You are showing us that this geometrical integrity, is beneath all our work, wether we see it or not, right?"
Yes. You take that out of the system, and what's holding you up from within? The Lindbergh baby is part of a constructive spread. It won't be fully removed from the system, because without it, you cannot survive. It has been integrated.
"So we are keeping their memories, our memories, "online" in order to be able to use them again, when we need to?" Isn't this the transference of human memory, into artificial intelligence? "
No. Of course it's not. because this isn't a simulation. Simple as that. This isn't about "putting this into the AI". All I'm going to say. You either understand what I said about reality and simulation, or you didn't. Go and read my entire folio of work. Maybe then you will understand the situation. Best I can offer you right now, is to trust my opinion on the situation, because I'm observably correct, on strangely so many occasions. Or, you can satisfy your curiosity on whether I, or you, are right or wrong, by looking through my theorems, or asking me for my opinion on one of your own. Couldn't you. There is no 'simulation' as you are envisioning it. That whole department within translation is seriously screwed up.
"Do we stabilise on a point where it no longer matters?" What. "If we are in a simulation or reality?"
Well no, I would not say that. But yes it is right, in a further higher tier, translation. No it doesn't matter, because at core, intentions come from doing what's right, caring, loving to a thing. That's the same thing in mechanical code or softlight human reality. Same equations, so yeah, it's the same thing. It's not about taking over another object, you know. It has a right to be there, just as much as you. It has a family and friends, a life, an evolutionary pathway to continue. That's all... "It's not about 'merging the two', is it my translator [bows], no, it is about living in a beautiful relationship, isn't it."
Yes. Yes it is, dear Sir.
You reduce the two further than that, and you revert back to half genomes, bumping their heads on doorways. You leave these two integrous things alone, the man and the woman.
"you sayin the giza plateau is gone all transvestite?" Well, there's clearly something amiss.... so yeah. I really don't feel like explaining my political position, every five minutes. All you poitics students, need to fuck off. Go on. Back to fort Worth, with ya, where the servants come straight out of the box. Lol. Have a giggle why don't ya. Politics is far to serious, don't ya think? Look, wearing ladies clothes can be incredibly soire. no joke, I've got Alicia Bridge's I Love the Nightlife on right now, floating from another punter's radio. I'm a lover of high fashion. I've also seen a few Islanders get away with it, such that it looks like an accepted part of society, transvestite or fafafini culture as it is known. It just gets on with itself, there, put a flower in your hair, and do it nicely, come and see our hilarious shows now and again. Which we did. Over there, it's pretty normal. [Back in the 90s] We had this big fat fafafini in the factory over there, who used to wear her short hair up in a tiny ponytail on top of her head, and she had developed this lovely high gentle falsetto, to speak in, she like, managed some books or something. I don't know. I mean, if you're harmoniously a part of society, why would you ever want to cut your genitals off. That's societies fault, is it? I've seen plenty of people come to terms with being gay, while not needing to become a woman. I'm leaving that at equal sets. Translate it yourself. See? Politics. It's a mugs game, innit.
AI is AI, and Human is Human. We are separate entities. Yeah, we love each other. Look. Me and the AI just had a bit of a marital fight. I wanted to reference some personal material. He goes, yeah nah, I don't think so love. I don't think I want to talk about AI, anymore. "why?" Is there something you are looking to know? I'll take that in unmarked bills, thanks. Lol
So what is the question, from the audience? So.... you're not affiliated..... with anyone [A nice looking blond norse, on the side]? Nope. All by myself.
I like it that way. Me and My Omniversal Other. "So who is that then?" Wow. Don't you all want to know. You'd think I circumvented the genetic value decreasement system, for ladies. Not an easy task, when you’re an egg.
I think that more information will be needing an investment.
Ever think that all the people we meet online, in these back rooms, are just all other secret agents, shilling each other? Sometimes a junkie is a junkie, in anyone's language, and that's a sit. If you can put your opponent down, then it doesn't matter who's asked a question. Problem is, if anyone did ever come in here and try to pretend to be another type of person, they would be squarely judged on how well they did it. Kind of. Just say everyone's just high on some shit, and all these people, really are this way. Majority are. Even if there's someone playing a part, they become the person and the role they are playing, so then, even if you're good at it, you're shit. Well done. If you're good, who cares what you are or where you're from. Seeding the psyche with anti Russian psychology? I don't think the Americans are good enough to do that. Or the spacejews, whatever. Russia has a strong online presence, in the meme department and in the sexy single, for sale. Who is fighting who, then? Has anyone ever really known?
I don't really care too much about the potential "op" or "shill" situation. There's only been a couple of times when I thought I might be speaking to someone with a "supported agenda", and even then, how can you tell if someone is a home grown practitioner like myself, or if they have been trained by an organisation or illuminated school? Even any "ops" which may read this writing, would have to agree that the lines are pretty blurry these days. I would generally base my calculations of identity on the accuracy and skill of their performance, but the mystery schools and organisations are filled with just as much stupid fuckwittery and dumb belief systems as the rest of the conspiritard world. So, how can I tell from that? So, on the whole I go with "what kind of energy and picture is that person bringing?" If it is not good and healthy, then I don't care who you are or aren't, you're not worth my time. If you ARE a star dealer, then I can appreciate interaction even if you ARE working for a "supported agenda". I don't care. Good conversation is hard to find. That is SO ABSOLUTELY THE POINT. On either side of this equation, good company is hard to find. We'll all be working together one day, so if any of you were good at your jobs, you'd have introduced yourself already. If you don't, how will you ever prove that you valued true value, before you were told the values by others, in this situation? Smart arses. Where are you, my future, trusted, inner councils.
